Wadena Area Knitters

The Wadena Area Knitters meet Wednesday mornings. Anyone is welcome to join them. Generally 6-10 people meet but they also have “winter snowbirds” who join them and knit during the winter where they live. Highschoolers also knit with them during the summer. Their group is knitting Comfort Dolls for an orphanage in Kenya. They hope to get about 400 done. They have also knitted things for cancer patients such as Knitted Knockers and chemo hats. Other items have been made for various missions projects.
