Memory Bears

The first Memory Bear Sue made was 22 years ago. Her dad passed from cancer, and her mom kept holding and smelling his shirt. That’s when she decided to make a Bear from it. Since then Sue makes around 150 Memory Bears, and other animals, t-shirt quilts, and pillows per year.
“I’ve seen what it means, to have something to hug, hold, smell, from a loved one that passed. Since I started making them, I’ve now lost my Mom and my husband. If I can give someone a little comfort, by making these, while they go through the journey of grief, I’ve done my job.” shared Sue Saari.
My cousin passed away from covid last Friday and was wondering if you make any Custom Officer bears from his uniform?
We are so sorry to hear about your loss. We have forwarded your comment onto Sue who makes the Memory Bears.
