Greenhouse Gas Reduction Goals & Performance Management
Fairfield manages and advances its greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals through an Integrated Management System (IMS), aligned with the HIGG FEM, ISO14001, and other relevant environmental standards.
Environmental objectives are defined and maintained through an Integrated Management System (IMS). Examples may include, but are not limited to:
Achieve a total carbon emissions reduction of 215 metric tons in the St. Louis facility by the end of 2026.
Achieve a total carbon emissions reduction of 30 metric tons in the Danbury, CT facility by the end of 2026.
Performance against these objectives is evaluated at planned intervals through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), internal audits, environmental aspect/impact evaluations, legal compliance evaluations, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and Management Review.
Results are used to determine, assign, implement, and verify corrective and preventive actions to ensure continual improvement of the IMS and its performance outcomes.
