Eleanor Gotz & Sue White

Two women from the Lake Grove Chapter of the Homemakers, Eleanor Gotz and Sue White take it upon themselves to make breast cancer pillows and seat belt covers among all the other great things that the organization does. These women use their own money to buy the material and stuffing to make hundreds of these items to donate to both Stony Brook Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital.

The heart of their products is made with Fairfield stuffing…the more they use. the more comfortable for the breast cancer patients
Eleanor and Sue met at Homemakers and quickly became friends that wanted to help people with their gift of sewing and time. It became real for Eleanor when over two years ago she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and required a Lumpectomy and realized the importance of their work.
