Key Club International

Ryan Dunn explained “Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character, and develop leadership. Key Club has existed since 1925, and many of the Schools in our area chartered in the 60s and 70s. We have approximately 500 members across 11 high schools in our area. Our organization hopes to create servant leaders in High School by teaching students to provide service to others. We have made countless service items in the past, such as dog toys for animal shelters, sandwiches for the homeless, and now we would like to create Kiwanis Dolls for Children in traumatic situations. These dolls come in a plastic bag with a ribbon tied to it. Inside this care-package, we include the doll, a small hand-sewn beanie, and a marker to draw on the Doll. Not only does this help occupy the child, but also builds their creativity and expression which they can doodle and draw faces, muscles, or anything they would like to on the doll. We plan to create 500 dolls by November, and possibly create more in the upcoming months after. “
