Kennel Comforters
Carole Lee explained “Kennel Comforters is a non-profit group of volunteers who make beds for the dogs and kitties at our local animal shelter. We meet the first Friday and Saturday of every month to sew the beds that we have cut out at home, and then we distribute them to 4-6 shelters. Currently, we have about 15-20 active members, and the cost of our materials is covered by donations. We make up to 120 animal beds for the local shelters every month. When we see the kitties curled up in our warm soft beds it makes all our work worthwhile!”
