Hall County Quilters Guild inc

Our quilt guild meets on the third Monday of each month for our project day to sew on projects for Eagle Ranch children’s Home and Quilts of Valor. We have just over 100 members at this time. We started in 1997 sewing quilts for Eagle Ranch. Children from dysfunctional families come to Eagle Ranch to work with counselors so as to learn to build working relationships. We make quilts for every child as a comfort for them. Each year we donate 50-80 quilts to the children who attend Eagle Ranch and over 100 quilts to our local veterans through our Quilts of Valor group. We all have been touched by the sacrifices our military personnel have given for our safety and freedom and also by the resilience of the children going through their family turmoil and we want to give them these quilts as a comfort they can wrap up in to know someone is thinking of them.
