Instructions for dog collar tie:

Cut the following pieces from oly*fun™

Cut two tie sections using the pattern provided and your choice of oly*fun’s great colors choices. Using your copy machine, increase or decrease the size of the pattern depending on your dog. The pattern provided was used for Rylee whom I consider a medium sized dog. Rylee is a Beagle/Husky mix and a real sweetheart. Our larger dog named Izzy is a labrador mix (also a sweetheart) and I consider her a large dog so I increased the pattern by 115%.

Cut one rectangle of oly*fun for the collar slide using color of your choice. To determine size: measure your dogs collar at it’s widest point (usually at the main buckle) Add one inch to this measurement. This will be the width of the strip to be cut. Cut the strip anywhere from 11″ to 15″ in length depending on how large your dog happens to be. I cut Rylee’s collar 13″ long as I consider her a medium sized dog and Izzy’s was 15″ long as she is a large dog. (Note: the collar slide is not meant to cover the entire dog collar.)

Cut four collars using the pattern provided and your choice of oly*fun color choices. Using your copy  machine, increase or decrease the size of the pattern depending on your dog. The pattern provided was used for Rylee whom I consider a medium sized dog.  Cut two 1/2″ wide strips to be used as accents on the tie.

Instructions for Dog Collar Tie:

When pressing oly*fun:  Set your iron to the silk setting and always use a pressing cloth. Never touch a hot iron directly to oly*fun™. Both sides of oly*fun™ may be considered the right side of the fabric, the choice really is yours to make, however be consistent for a more finished look. All seams are 1/4″ unless otherwise noted.
