Step One

Cut the following:
Basket: Six 12 inch by 17 inch rectangles; two each of the main fabric, lining and Smooth. Cut two 11.5 inch by 17 inch rectangles from Stiffen1
Quilt: Three 30 inch squares; one each from the main fabric, lining and batting
Burp Cloths: Three 12 inch by 20 inch rectangles one each from the main fabric, lining and batting
Receiving Blanket: One 30 inch square from the lining fabric
Bibs: Refer to Friendly Frolic Bibs for the pattern and instructions. Depending on the print used take the time to center motifs on the front of the bib. The number of bibs you will be able to create will depend on how the pattern is placed onto the fabric.

Step Nine

Burp Cloths
Cut three 12 inch by 20 inch rectangles from the main fabric, lining and batting. Lay the lining right side up on top of the batting and cover with the main fabric, right sides together. Stitch around the outside edges using a 1/2″ seam and leaving a 4 inch opening along one side. Clip corners, turn right sides out and press. Hand stitch the opening closed. Top stitch around the outside edge. See Diagrams A-C

Step Ten

Fast and Easy Quilt
Cut three 30 inch squares from the main fabric, lining and batting. Lay the lining right side up on top of the batting and cover with the main fabric, right sides together. Stitch around the outside edges using a 1/2″ seam and leaving a 6 inch opening along one side. Clip corners, turn right sides out and press. Hand stitch the opening closed. Top stitch around the outside edge and then again 1 inch away. Stitch from one corner diagonally across to the opposite corner from both directions to quilt the layers together. See Diagrams A-C.

Step Eleven

Receiving Blanket
Cut a 30 inch square from the lining fabric. Turn under one edge 1/2 inch and press. Repeat turning it under a second time and top stitch to secure. Finish the remaining three edges in the same manner.

Step Twelve
