Lots of pillows are essential in every man cave. Try creating a pillow that is double sided so they can create two looks…and essentially two different rooms.
For our accent pillows on one side, we used a fabric that coordinates with the rest of our room. On the reverse side, we used an old university sweatshirt a new life and gave it a new life. The university sweatshirts add a creative twist and give your man cave some real team spirit!
You can turn all the pillows one-way for a luxurious look and then with the flip them over and you’re ready for the big game.
Oversized pillows are perfect for accenting the couch or for tossing on the floor for relaxed seating. You can use the same idea as the throw pillows by using the cohesive room fabric to on side and something different on the other. Here, I added a masculine flair to the flip side by using tie tips as embellishment sewing them onto red denim.
Note: We recommend making your pillow covers at least 1″ smaller than the pillow insert that you plan to use. This makes for a plumper pillow.
