The cutest doll accessories look like the “real thing” just tiny. These doll pillows are perfectly adorable with their own separate pillowcase, wide hem, and plump pillow inside. Pillowcases can be made with any fabric scraps, but we think you’ll agree the snuggly softness of Shannon Fabrics Cuddle Fabrics makes for the sweetest playtime.

What you need to make this project

Materials: Small Amount of Poly-Fil® Fiber Fill; White Cotton Fabric scraps at least 5x7" for Pillows; Cuddle Fabric Scraps at least 8x9" or 1/4 yard Cuddle Fabric; Coordinating Thread

Supplies: Sewing Machine and related supplies; Rotary Cutting Mat, Blade and Ruler or Sewing Scissors

Instructions

Step One

We’ll begin these doll pillows by making the pillowcases since they’re so bright and pretty and soft. (But you can start with the little pillows if you a save-the-best-for-last kind of person.)

Cut you pillowcase fabric into a rectangle 9″ tall and 8″ wide.
Fold over one at 2″ to make cuff.
Stitch.
Fold in half RIGHT SIDES together and stitch down the side and bottom with 1/2 inch seam allowance. Clip corners.
Turn right side out.
Go make your tiny pillow.

Step Two

Cut two 5″ x 7″rectangles from white cotton fabric. Pin securely.
Stitch around the sides with 1/2 inch seam allowance, leaving and opening at the top big enough to turn the pillow.
Clip the corners.
Turn right side out.
Add Polyfil.
Stitch the pillow closed.

Step Three
