    • Instructions

    Step One

    Die cut the petals from the Oly*Fun fabric.  To replicate the colors of real helleborus flowers I used Jelly, Brick, and Kiwi.

    Die cut the center piece of the flower from Lemon Drop Oly*Fun fabric.

    Die cut the leaves from Clover Oly*Fun Fabric.

    Step Two

    Begin to assemble the flower by adding a dot of hot glue to the end of a toothpick.  Wrap the yellow piece around the toothpick and and hot glue the end in place.  Hot glue one petal on at a time, then add the two leaves as pictured.

    Step Three

    I like to save foam scraps from my upholstery projects for things like this.  Cut a small piece of foam to place inside the basket.  Cover the foam with Spanish Moss.

    Step Four

    Press the sharp end of the toothpicks into the foam to hold the flowers in place.  Add a chalkboard tag to write the guest’s name on.
