Instructions

Step One

Cut fabric in half along the center fold and remove the selvedge edges. Place right side up on a flat surface.

Starting from the left selvedge edge and using a removable marking tool and ruler, mark lines for the fabric pin tucks.

The first marking will be 2 inches from the left edge. The remaining eleven marks will be spaced 1 ½ inches apart for a total of 12 pin tucks.

Step Two

Fold fabric right sides together, along each of the marked lines and stitch using a ½ wide seam. Trim the right edge of the fabric 1 ½ beyond the final pin tuck seam.

Press all pin tucks to the right.

Using the ruler and cutting mat, square the ends of the table runner

Step Three

Starting from the center point, top stitch across the width of the table runner, securing the pin tucks. Measure 7 inches from either side of the first row and stitch. Continue measuring and stitching rows of pin tucks.

Using the ruler and cutting mat, square the ends of the table runner

Step Four

Press pin tucks in the opposite direction and stitch between the previously stitched sections to secure pin tucks.
