Instructions

Step One

Easy DIY Pocket Pillow - Great for Sleepovers or Gifts

This fun dandelion print comes in several color options.

Cuddle Dandelion Fabrics

Start by cutting out 3 – 18″ squares from your fabric.  Since Shannon Cuddle fabrics come 60″ wide, you should be able to get all three from one width of fabric with just a little left over.  (If you choose to use other 45″ wide fabric, you’ll need to purchase more.)

Step Two

Lay 1 square face up.  Fold the second square in half and line up with bottom half of the first square.  The fold should go across the middle.  Pin well and sew (baste) with a 3/8 inch seam allowance.  (You need it to be slightly less than 1/2 an inch because we’ll be sewing a 1/2 seam over the top of it soon.

Step Three

Place your third square FACE DOWN over your first two squares FACE UP.  Pin well along the BOTTOM side.  (If you want to make a super simple pillow with no zipper, you can go ahead and pin all four sides and sew, leaving an opening large enough to add stuffing or your pillow insert.)
