It may look like your basic lightweight scarf but there are secret snaps that can quickly turn this scarf into a nursing cover. You could even use it as a light blanket in a pinch!

Instructions

Step One

After laundering your fabric, cut a 20″ x 60″ strip of fabric. Place off to the side while we work on the applique.

Step Two

Cut out the anchor pattern and pin in place over a piece of fabric that has been reinforced on the back with the Structure interfacing.

Step Three

Cut excess fabric to create anchor shape.

Step Four

Pin in place in the corner of 2o” x 60″ scarf panel.

Step Five

Zigzag stitch all the way around to secure in place.

Step Six

Double fold the edges of the scarf, press, and sew.

Step Seven

Use Dritz pliers to attach snaps on the matching corners of the scarf.

All that’s left to do is throw the scarf around your neck on your way out the door! When you’re ready to use it as a nursing cover, just snap the corners together and place over your nursing baby. Hope you enjoy this super easy way to give yourself a little more privacy!
