Step Seven

Next you will sew the hat and beard to the head, I think it is easiest to do these at the same time so that you can make sure they are both in the right spot.

Place the hat on the head, pulled down to the neckline in the back and higher on the face in the front. The beard should be placed so that the tips come up almost to the hat and there is a space between the hat and the beard for the eyes. Sew the beard on. Sew the pom pom onto the tip of the hat, bend it to the side and stitch down, add a couple more stitches to secure the hat to the head.

With black yarn stitch the eyes between the hat brim and beard.

  • ornament hanger

Step Eight

Cut a length of crochet thread about 8-9 inches long, thread through the top of the hat, towards the front so that he will hang straight, tie a knot, trim the ends and tuck the knot into the top of the hat.

Hang him on your Christmas tree.
