Boxy Monkey
Categories: Kid Friendly, Doll, Crochet
Last year I made a set of boxy animals, crocheted, stuffed animals with a rectangular base and boxy shape. Boxy Fox, Boxy Owl, and Boxy Bear. I thought it would be fun to revisit that and make a new set of boxy animals and the first one of this set is a Monkey. He has the same boxy shape as the other animals, a long tail that can have wire put inside if you would like it to be bendy, ears that stick out on the side of his head and a contrasting face with safety eyes. The arms legs and tail are all crocheted into the body, the ears and face are sewn on later. Inside he has a little bag filled with weighted stuffing beads in the base that helps him sit up and then he is filled the rest of the way with Poly-Fil.
