Founded in 1940 by Sam Young, Fairfield Processing Corporation was focused on processing natural fibers for the hat and clothing industries. Over time, haberdashery needs changed. In the 1960’s, Fairfield was one of the first to test early innovations in revolutionary polymer materials. This resulted in a highly resilient, fluffy fiber, named Poly-Fil® that was quickly recognized as a superior soft-toy stuffing. The product gained national distribution and became a market leader and top performer.
Fairfield Processing Corporation, a US-based manufacturer for over 75 years, is the maker of Poly-fil® brand fiber fill. Fairfield is a market leader in the DIY Craft, Hobby and Sewing markets bringing softness and comfort into the lives of all.
