Favorite Craft: Quilting, small quilted projects, vintage sewing machines

I am a 30-something third generation quilter. I focus on small projects on my blog to help build key skills for quilting. I also teach individual blocks to encourage quilters to make up their own quilts based on the traditional blocks. I try to encourage people to step outside of the box and break a few rules when quilting. My husband joins me on the blog giving tips on how to keep vintage sewing machines running.

I have worked with Northcott Fabrics and Cotton Cuts subscription service. My DIY thread guide was featured on Bonnie Hunter’s Quiltville blog. I have also written for The Quilt Pattern Magazine. I’m currently designing some beanbag like seating for the local elementary library.
