Made of unbleached cotton, this natural cotton batting is extremely soft and easy to needle making it ideal for both hand and machine quilting. It also works well as a craft fabric and can be dyed for art projects. It has moderate shrinkage when washed, helping your finished quilt age gracefully. Weight: 4 oz. / sq. yd.

Wash and Care Tips

Presoaking is not recommended, as the batting is fragile until it's quilted. Once quilted, the batting may be washed on gentle cycle with warm water and mild detergent once quilted. Air dry. Expect 2-3% shrinkage. If you must presoak, follow the instructions in our FAQs.
