I'm sorry but we do not recommend using any of our battings in that particular pattern.
80/20 batting question
by bagcrafter - Oct 11, 2010
I make potato bags. How does 80/20 perform in the microwave as compared to 100% poly batting or 100% cotton such as Warm and Natural?
removing wrinkles

Helen, please don't iron the batting. Use the methods mentioned above. They are both great ways to remove wrinkles from the batting directly out of the packaging.
Nice Batting 80/20 customers like it.

I am a longarm quilter and my customers seem to be moving from the one batting I carried prior to Fairfield and moving towards Fairfield's 80/20. They like that it is light weight with a bit of loft, and I like that it is sturdy enough for quilting on machine.

Steam to remove wrinkles
by tracywhitlock - Sep 21, 2010
The best way to remove wrinkles is to steam with batting with a steamer. Do not use an iron and apply direct heat. If you do not have a steamer you can spray a light mist of water onto the batting and toss it into the dryer for 5 – 10 minutes.

Have purchased 80/20 batt. Do I throw it in the dryer to straighten it out from the bag fold instead of ironing it? helen feller

80-20

I have used this in 4 crib quilts and 3 ling size quilts. It really works well for the crib quilts and for the larger quilts that will be ussed in a warmer climate.
